In this time of vacancy,

share in responsibility,
and seek your vision for our future,
in the name of Jesus Christ, our shepherd and our guide.
Amen.

Electoral Roll – Preparing for the Annual Church Meeting 14 May 2025 EVERYONE needs to do this!

This is the year in which the Church of England decrees that our electoral roll (list of members) be scrapped, and that we prepare a completely new one.
So no matter when you first joined the roll, whether 60 years or a couple of months ago, you need to fill in a new application form. Printed forms are available in church and can be returned either to church or direct to me at 3 New Cross Road. The form is also available on the church website, and can be downloaded, filled in online and emailed to me – it does not need to be physically signed if it comes from your email address.
If you have not been listed on our roll before – please sign up. It gives you a vote at the meeting and helps us to know how many of us there are. The only qualifications are that you have been baptised (in any Christian denomination) and that you either live in the parish or have attended Holy Trinity regularly over the past six months. Your applications must reach me TODAY 13TH April! If you have any problems or questions please get in touch! Thank you.

The deadline for the next online newsletter is Thursday 24th April. If you have any items and photos to contribute, please email them to Yue-Yi Hwa at newsletter@hthq.uk. Thank you very much.

This week’s Eco Tip

This week’s Eco Tip: Does the warm weather make you want to get to work in the garden? Bear in mind that all our kindness feeding the birds in winter could be to no avail if we cut/trim hedges during nesting. Under Section 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act,1981 it is a legal offence to harm nesting birds, or their eggs by cutting hedges between 1st March and 31st August. Exemptions include if the hedge obstructs the pavement, obstructs the light from a street lamp, or is dead or damaged.Hilary Rollin, Eco Group
